Air shower are specialized anti chambers that is passed through before entering a

clean room to blow off the excess amount of dust particles from the clean room personnel before they enter in order to minimize contamination. There are HEPA filters that are basically used to decontaminate a room by filtering out particles that are greater than 0.3 micrometres in size.

The same air is passed through a high efficiency perfect air filter that is made from glass pleated non-woven filter media having a minimum efficiency of 99.999%.

Apart from these applications, it is indispensable for Air Showers to have a sturdy construction, because only then applications would be performed as per the terms and conditions of the user. The internal cubicles of air showers are plastic laminated and attractively finished. The unit is provided with blower access panel at the side of the shower. There are two doors that are provided on the either side that are interlocked and are operated on the magnetic system.

The compartment access panels are hinged and are made of coated aluminium. The doors of these air showers are made of aluminium panel and have a clear view glass or acrylic windows. The HEPA filter and pre filter assembly are placed on the top of the unit and the unit is controlled through a programmable solid state circuit control system that is located at the junction box. The control unit helps the user to adjust the air nozzles and the operation time.

Besides having a sturdy construction, these are ergonomically designed and are versatile in usage. These generally have low noise and vibration levels and are programmable when it comes to operation. Apart from all this stated above, these are even provided with perfectly balanced motor and blower motors that bear an ISI mark.

Air showers for paint shops are used to eradicate contamination and these equipments are of extreme importance to any research and development organisation or any pharmaceutical industries. Air showers therefore play an important role when it comes to conducting experiments, as every test should be carried out without any contamination.
