The Park which got submerged in sea water 180 million years ago has managed to preserve the wild wood life in fossil form. The area of about 10 square kilometres affords various sizes of fossilized trees. In total visitors can view 25 tree trunks which have been fossilized.

This preservation of historical wonders is indeed an archaeological marvel. And even though more interesting fossils are yet to be unearthed, what is already on display, such as sea shells which are centuries old and massive tree trunks, portray the history of the region which is now mainly a desert.
