#2 "Article Marketers" should stay away from writing super short articles. Many of the best article directories have standards, which mean that they would like your article to be a certain length. Writing articles that are 250 words is okay, but it won't get accepted at some of the best article directories. Get into the practice of writing articles that are at least 350-500 words. You want to be able to use the best directories because they are great at getting your content ranked, thus driving more traffic to your articles. Too short and you will not have enough content, too long and you will begin to lose your readers.

#3 "Article Marketers" should be wary of article submitters. Yes, they are a handy tool to use, but a lot of them are out of date. You might end up buying one, and find that many of the article directories are no longer around. The internet changes every single day, therefore there needs to be daily updates. If you are going to get an article submitter, try to find a recent one, and try to find out if it has article directories that can get your content ranked.
