All About Philips Remote Control

, like I was just a week or so ago, then you may want to read this article. I want to introduce you to a cool one that I found the fulfilled my needs.

After having been shopping around for a little while I was quite taken with a Phillips universal controller and decided that I'd buy it to see how well it worked. I was too bothered if it wasn't the exact right one because they said you could just send it back if you had any troubles.

The Philips Universal Remote Control is advertised to control the TV, DVD, VCR and satellite. It is advertised as one of the easiest to use remote controls and is supposed to work with around 325 different brands of TVs, VCRs and DVDs.

Additionally, it offers glow in the dark keys which is good however it does need to be really dark within the room. Another cool feature lets you save all your personal settings for just over ten minutes whilst you change betteries. This saves you having to reset everything all over again whenever it needs a battery change.

The Philips Universal Remote control also has the PIP button and a button for turning on subtitles if your Television has that ability.

As soon as it arrived to my home, I cracked it open and had a quick play. It was very easy to use and was set out in an intuitive way. Plus, it comes with a full manual which means that you can find out anything which you might not have guessed by having a quick flip through. The index page is very useful to quickly find what your looking for in the manual.

It also works just fine with DVR, but there are some special keys that you need to push to get it going. But all of this is covered within the manuals and it didn't take me more than 5 minutes to get it all up and running.

I have to admit for any fairly inexpensive handheld remote control I'm really pleased with the product.

I'm told that Phillips also has some of the best support around and you can easily find out more onr they're forums. However, whilst I have found this to be great for my need, you may find that it is actually not what your looking for. So you may even want to read some more reviews to so you can find just what you are specifically looking for.
