All About The Bhutanese Owned 5-star Hotel In Bhutan

In the classifications, it rated hotel Zhiwa Ling as the only 5 star category accommodations in Bhutan. This is the first and only hotel owned by a Bhutanese to have received the 5 star rating. The accommodation property is also ISO22000 certified.

The 5-star Hotel in Bhutan is located in the Paro area. Paro is basically a historic town having many historical buildings and sacred sites scattered all over the region. The Paro Valley is also located in the area and is considered as one of the most beautiful places in the country. However, the town forms the 'golden triangle' of popular tourist destinations. This is the reason why tourists from all over the world flock into this town and look for luxury hotels in Paro for their stay.

Local beers and international beverages are served in the cozy setting. The bar tender can mix a delightful cocktail popular as 'Dragon warmer' for you. You can even try out 'Ara', the local homemade rice wine in Mad Monk Bar.

Honoring the spiritual heritage of the Buddhist kingdom, the hotel has built two in-house temples inside the building. One is on the second floor in the lobby. The temple located on the second floor has been constructed using 450 year old timber. Guests staying in the Raven suite in Zhiwa Ling enjoy the facility of the other temple in the hotel.
