Alliance Leveling Guide - Supplemental Information
An Alliance leveling guide, just as its name suggests
, is a guide that provides details on how to create an Alliance character from level 1 to level 80. Many such guides are promising to forge a hero out of your character. A leveling guide could be more useful though if it contains very important information about the faction in the World of Warcraft that is better known as the Alliance.
Alliance: A Brief History
Also known as the Grand Alliance, the Alliance is the faction that is bound by their sacred respect for abstract principles and concepts like honor and nobility. This is in stark contrast with the need to survive and fight together even though alliances that bound the Horde are not strong.
The Grand Alliance once bore the name, the 'Alliance of Lordaeron' because leadership of the faction is in the Lordaeron Empire, a human-ruled empire in the Eastern Kingdoms continent. Nowadays, the former territories are being fought over by fragments of human resistance forces called the Scourge and the Forsaken as well as the Scarlet Crusade and the Argent Dawn. After the Plague of Undeath ravaged the land, the Alliance was forced to transfer its major forces in and to the Eastern Kingdom Continents of Azeroth and Khaz Modan, the stronghold of the Dwarves.
Major Members Of The Alliance
The Alliance is comprised of very distinct races namely, the Light-loving Draenei, the vulnerable but valorous Humans, the eccentric Gnomes, the stoic humanoids Dwarves, and the first-born Night Elves. A new addition to the Alliance is the Worgen of Glineas, a faction of what is considered the strongest human nations that has officially rejoined the Alliance in the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
The Draenei The Draenei is essentially composed of exiled Eredar who escaped the corruption in the Argus through the leadership of Velen, one of the most prominent leaders of the planet. Their escape from corruption brought them to what is now their homeland, the Draenor or the 'Exile's Refuge'.
The Humans The Humans are the foremost member of the Grand Alliance; they were there when it was formed in the old Kingdom of Lordaeron. This was after the human's primary stronghold - the City of Stormwind - was ravaged in the First War.
The Dwarves The Dwarves are essentially a mountain-dwelling class that is bent on perfecting their two beloved crafts - metal crafting and jewelry. When called to battle, though, the Dwarves are a mighty force to be reckoned with. The Dwarves became a member of the Alliance after their homeland, the Khaz Modan, was desolated by the invasion of the Bleeding Hollow Clan.
The Gnomes Of all races in the Wolrd of Warcraft universe, the Gnomes are the most peculiar of all. They are the creators and developers of the technological wonders used by the Alliance.
The Night Elves Finally are the Night Elves who are the first born of the World. They are the first born of the World who have cloistered up in theor holy mountain, the Hyjal, for thousands of years. But with the Third War stirring their otherwise peaceful - and shadowy - existence, the Night Elves have become fast allies to what remains of the survivors of the Lordaeron.
An Alliance leveling guide, for it to be very useful and helpful, it should be comprehensive enough to cover supplemental information to what is presented above.
