December 2010 a new expansion was released, and fans all over the world, pikc up this exciting new expansion. This new expansion is called Cataclysm and this time instead of the Lich King, undead and the cold of the north it's the firey destruction of Deathwing and is the new threat to azeroth. Like all the expansion to world of warcraft the leveling cap has been risen to 85. The leveling cap in Wrath of the Lich King was 80 so leveling to 85 will be challanging for some players.

Going from 80 to 85 will be a rather lengthy and challenging task with all of the new instances to deal with but leveling up your character is pretty much the same drill. Using an Alliance character is no exception either so continue using your Alliance character build that made you successful in leveling up to 80 and grind away.

The new dungeons in World of Warcraft Cataclysm are very exciting and serve as enjoyable ways to power up your character's experience. This is the most logical way to go and should be the fastest way to level up because that is where you will encounter far more powerful mobs and other enemies than the ones that you encountered in Wrath of the Lich King.

Leveling up by participating in quests was always one of the essential tips in leveling up your character and this strategy continues to work in Cataclysm. There are plenty of Alliance quests that you can take part of with important quests being the "To the Depths", "Sea Legs", and "Call of Duty" quests. You can do all of these three quests once you reach level 80 so get these out of the way so you can enjoy the extra experience and rewards that make it easier to complete future quests.

As you go through the new story line you will find different quest that will allow and show you how to explore new zones and area's. If you explore these area's in order then you will have no trouble leveling up, but be prepared to encounter new foes.

If you used a leveling guide to take your Alliance character to level 80, check the website where you purchased the guide and download any available updates so you can take that same guide and apply it to the new World of Warcraft Cataclysm quests. Following the guide the same way you did last time will surely bring up your character to level 85 in no time.
