Aloha Golf Course Costa Del Sol, Spain

Aloha Golf Course is designed in the Mecca of European Golf on the Costa del Sol

. It is located in Nueva Andalucia which is 8 kilometers from Marbella and 3 kilometers from the Famous Puerto Banus.

The course is full of different types of vegetation all over the region. It is a natural golf course, and no one hole out of the 18 in Aloha is similar to the other. The Aloha Golf Course with 9 and 18 hole was designed by Javier Arana, in 1973. He is amongst the best known golf architects in Spain and unfortunately died just two years after designing this beautiful course.

Aloha Golf was one of the initial courses to come up, when golf courses started developing in this part of Spain. The course has been designed on a place which was at the outset called 'Finca del Angel'.

Aloha is a flawlessly maintained course and will test your precision skill with the natural banks, protected greens, water hazards and wide-ranging vegetation. You will enjoy playing on this course for its diversity. This region offers excellent climate, with more than 300 days of sunshine in a year, which makes Aloha one of the best golfing destinations all the year round. There is a 5 star hotel, Gran Hotel Melia Don Pepe very close to the golf course, which is a wonderful place to stay for golfers who want to enjoy some rounds of in this region.

As Aloha is a natural course there are a number of streams and lakes all over which makes it essential to concentrate on your game while playing here. You have the spectacular view of the Penablanca Mountain in the backdrop with its beautiful vegetation making Aloha a very attractive course to play. It has a driving range with putting green as well as well maintained 9 hole short course for novices or golfers who want to have a short game or practice before a big one. Visitors are allowed on the Aloha Golf Course, even though it is a private club. The course is famous for its tricky greens, which can make or break your game of golf.

A number of improvements have been made in the Aloha golf course as well as the clubhouse in the past few years. The club has well kept undulating fairways which are generally wide enough all the way, but you may be in trouble if you wander off to any side. The holes have very individual and have very appropriate names. For instance the eleventh is called Las Aguilas or Eagles, because this hole is situated very near the mountains.

You will have no problem in using the Aloha Golf Club as it is open to general public particularly between May through September. It is important to make your booking in advance and your handicap card is a must. In the busier months like November and April, members are typically given precedence and a non-member may have problem getting a tee time. Playing on the Aloha Golf Club is an occasion to cherish.
