Alopecia Areata Barbae- This is where it is confined to the beard.
Alopecia Areata Universalis- This is where hair is lost all over the body including the scalp, eye brows, eye lashes, pubic hairs, nose hairs, etc.
Cures- There is no one cure for this problem. Hair will usually grow back and not fall out again if the hair loss is small. If the hair loss is alopecia areata universalis, there are various treatments used to various degrees of success. Such medications as Minoxidil, steroid creams, steroid injections and others are used to treat this disorder, but there is no single cure for this problem.
