Christopher Latham Sholes designed the first piano like a keyboard with two rows of characters sorted in alphabetical order

. There were several disadvantages in using that. One of the main issue is the key jamming that happens when two successive arms are pressed rapidly. So to avoid these kinds of flaws the QWERTY keyboard layout model was invented by Sholes in which the characters are not placed in an alphabetic order instead in a new unique way to avoid key jamming. Keyboards designed in this layout model are called 'QWERTY' keyboards. It avoids key jamming and increases the typing speed.

QWERTY is vastly used in computers and typewriters. It is named QWERTY to denote the first six letters in this layout. It is still being used as the keyboard model for most of the keyboards because of its advantages and robust design. Also many proposed alternate models failed in the race because of not having good advantages over this one. Still the base layout model is QWERTY on top of that manufacturers add the special keys which they need for their application. Hence the base layout, the structure of the keyboard has not changed in these traditional QWERTY keyboards.

It is a de juro standard for keyboard layout model for a very long time. But Alpha Grip keyboard showcases more advantages over traditional QWERTY keyboards.

QWERTY's layout was proposed by Scholl by studying the character frequency and some other trial and error method. But Alpha Grip keyboards layout has been proposed by advanced engineering technologies which gives faster typing, stylish look and feel, versatility. The Alpha Grip keyboards gives portability, robust typing, stylishness and also it is two to three times faster than the other traditional keyboard models.
