Alternate Dumbbell Curls are an excellent way to isolate the biceps in order to make them grow huge

. Because this exercise is majorly focused on the bicep that is where the majority of the muscle toning and building is going to take place. In this article I am going to show you the correct technique for this exercise and will show you how to use it to grow huge arm muscles.

The reason these are called alternating dumbbell curls is that they are so effective you have to alternate which arm you do them for because if you never you would end up having one huge arm and one skinny arm!

To perform this exercise you will need a pair of dumbbells.

Here are the steps to help you perform this exercise:

1: Stand upright with your two dumbbells hanging from your sides and your palms facing each other (or facing your legs).

2: Lift your arm up to your shoulder; curling your arm as it rises. The result should result in your palm facing and being very close to your shoulder.

3: Now when you are going down you should curl your arm back again so that the final resting place is such that your palm is facing your leg again.

3.2: While one arm is curling downward you should begin to curl upward with your other arm, continually alternating them in this fashion.

4: Perform your desired number of reps, ideally you should have the correct weight to do 2-3 sets of 10 reps each.
