The after effects of the treatment need to be known about so that adequate preparation can be done. The risk, the results and the time of the procedure needs to be discussed.

2.Check the credentials of the doctor or the practitioner undertaking the therapy. It is necessary that the person administering the procedure is qualified and knows how to handle complex situations.

3.As there is no cure for the disease, the costs that come with even the basic of operations that have to be performed come at a cost. Also, these alternative treatments for AIDS may not be recognized by the insurance firms which would lead to non reimbursement of the policy amount.

There are presently, a number of alternative treatments that are offered at various places across the globe that claim to put a tab on the spread of AIDS. These practices are not so popular globally and find limited acceptance.

Homeopathy aims at helping the people increase the efficiency of their immune system and also help the patients at every step as the disease progresses. The medicines include vitamins, animals produce and minerals which are given in small amounts. The medicines are given after studying the symptoms of the patient and hence, no diagnosis is required.
