Alvaro Planchart-the Maya Magician

Alvaro Planchart is the only Venezuelan and first among Latin Americans to become a specialized trainer of character animatronics in MAYA

. This 3D animation specialist made an amazing move that encouraged the film language to convey messages all over the society. From preparation of the script to ultimate edit, Alvaro Planchart offered his understanding in film mechanism, amplifying briefly the important fundamentals of Maya, and its role in making projects like Spiderman, Monsters Inc., Toy Story, The Lord of the Rings and IRobot, to name a few.

A journey through MAYA:

The most demanding and outstanding expedition for this 3D specialist is the project MAYA. The project involved long hours of human effort, a bunch of people and commendable harmonization of talent that created character animatronics software and extraordinary special effects that is one of its kinds in the world. The Venezuelan project is the next big thing for the 3D engineer and the biggest challenge for Alvaro Planchart. The 3factors that drives the projects are:

The necessity to train workforce to work in creation.

It is a very determined venture

This project makes Planchart the director, screenwriter and producer all in one apart from being the creator alone.

The past experience allows the 3D magician to take up this challenge with a confidence that enables him to attend his goals.

Typically, the idea to create Maya had first occurred when in 1995 Alias and Wavefront fused to structure the now known Alias Wavefront. Prior to this amalgamation, Alias was looking after the three-dimensional modeling tool and Wavefront was looking after the special effects software that is more advanced in making three-dimensional texturing. The idea to merge was basically to create a character animation with advanced visual effects for the next generation.

Maya and its stages:

Creating Maya involved a lot of stages. The stages of Alpha and Beta tests were one of the few stages that prepared Maya. The stages are used on real productions and to discover the gaps that the animation has. It also helps to sort the flaws. The Alpha-Beta tests underwent a lot of invention in cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, Toronto, Santa Barbara (California), and Tokyo. Perfect harmonization was needed. The process involved a group of software applicators, application experts, animators and people with sound technical knowledge for connecting the satellite to get idea of the accomplishments and failures.

Maya did take a lot of skill to give the best of animation and the best part of the Maya journey was the involvement of Alvaro Planchart who indeed is the 3D animation specialist.
