Wagah Border:- One of the nearby places to visit from Amritsar is Wagah Border which is located on Indo Pak border, is 28 km from Amritsar. A good number of visitors come to this place to see the change of guards ceremony and flag hoisting which is done with great skill and precision by border security forces of both the countries. Durgiana Temple:- A wonderful temple dedicated to Goddess Durga is also a major tourist attraction of Amritsar is easily accessible from Golden Temple. Built during the 16th century AD the temple is a massive structure and was built on a style of Golden Temple.
