Amway was founded in 1959 by Rich DeVos together with his business partner Jay Van Andel. Amway is a direct selling company which operates in more than 80 countries around the world. There are more than 3 million people who are independent representatives in Amway. Now the president of AMWAY is Rich DeVos son. His name is Doug DeVos.
Amway is marketing air and water purifiers, a line of cleaning products for home, nutritional supplements and skin and personal care products. All these products are sold by the independent representatives to costumers who can order online using a number of the independent representative. Amway will ship there products direct to the costumer.

Amway gives distributor training through The Learning Center which helps independent representatives to get started, sell the products and grow their businesses. The leaders get an additional training. To get the largest volume of sales distributors have to build a big list which includes family, friends, neighbors and people they talk to on the daily basis.
When the Amway independent representative business is starting to grow they can start sponsoring and training new people. Than their businesses will explode because not only they are working so does the people they sponsor. Training for every distributor is very important because that influences their income.
Having a list is very easy but the most problem people have is that the list is not growing because they finished all their people who they have relationships with.
