Amway Scam? Boo Yah!

Is there an Amway Scam? That's a fantastic thing to be asking especially if you are planning on building a long term, profitable business.

Amway scam reports pepper the internet. Is there any substance to these reports?

THE HISTORY

Jay Van Andel and Rich Devos were promoting soap and cleaning products house to house in the early 50's.

They recognized that others would appreciate a shot to be self reliant and build an income so they formed Amway in 1959 as a Multi level markeitng company that offered average folks the chance to build an income.

Fast forward to 2010, 50 years later, and Amway is still going strong. If there is an Amway scam they sure have done a great job hiding it from the general population and the government.

Let's investigate the last 50 years.

Amway has amassed over 3 million IBO's and mushroomed out to to business in over 80 countries worldwide.

In addition to that, Amway amassed up an 8 billion dollar year in 2008.

In the course of their time in business they have donated over 325 million to charitable organizations.

THE CONTROVERSY

Many people believe that because some top level distributors have made some income marketing books and tapes, an amway scam exists.

Isn't it something that certain leaders could increase their capabilities to such a level that mass numbers of consumers would desire to be trained by them?

What about dishonesty. Could there be some unethical behavior happening within a group of 3 million human beings? That's a foolish question isn't it?.

Does that mean that there is an Amway scam? No, it means that several of the 3 million reps may well be scammers.

The BOTTOM LINE

Amway makes products in exchange for cash and they do it on a repeated basis.

When Amway says they will reward you money when you sell so much product... guess what? They pay you money. It's promised in the comp plan.

It's possible that some reps make untrue income claims. This is ordinary within every MLM enterprise on the earth. You can do some checking to confirm the truth here.

I would absolutely take a look at the income document that's made public every year by Amway to give folks the facts on income statistics.

THE MARKETING

If you've been told that you can build a huge down line and become rich overnight by telling a few friends and family who show a few more... that just might be somewhat of an Amway Scam.

If you believe you can tell a few neighbors, never gain any skills and become financially free, your in for a shock.

The internet brings an incredible opportunity for MLMrs to connect with mass numbers of indivudals that are seeking ways to generate wealth.

With the information age you can stop thinking about contacting friends and family, disregard prospecting at shopping malls, and prepare to have your phone ringing off the hook with hungry, ready to buy prospects.
