These conditions are so different than where they live. These people often imagine themselves walking the same path as explorers did many years ago.

There are many things about Antarctica that fascinates an armchair adventurer. There are many that are impressed at the animals that live in this region of the world. As they look at the climate of Antarctica, they are impressed that the warm blooded animals that live in the area have blubber to insulate them from the extreme cold.

Those that dream of an Antarctica cruise find themselves wanting to see the Emperor penguin. They want to see the male penguin that keeps the eggs warm in the harsh weeks of the winter. They want to see the animal that survives the harsh temperatures for 9 weeks with no food and keeps their eggs safe. This is something that excites people about seeing this land for themselves.

The animals that have to live in the waters surrounding Antarctica is something that fascinates most people. They don't think of the waters in this area as being any more habitable than the land it surrounds. Krill is the main food source for those that do live in these waters. Animals live off this tiny crustacean.

Dreams do come true for some people. They have worked very hard to make their Antarctica cruise trip come to fruition. As they see the lands for themselves, they realize it was all they dreamed it would be. There are some that are surprised to find there are things they didn't know. This is a trip that gives them memories they will cherish for a lifetime.

Travelers are surprised to find there is a climate change when they visit the Antarctic Peninsula. They find this is the most visited part of Antarctica because of that change. There are also more animals to see in this part of the continent as well. Many of the tourists find they can't leave without seeing this part of the continent.

As people think of an Antarctica cruise, they think it's something they will never be able to do. These trips aren't out of the question nor are they unattainable. As people decide they want to go, they begin to do research. When they have the opportunity to make that cruise happen, they won't regret a moment of it.
