The Audi A4 alone revitalized the Audi brand after it faced a big sales drop about two decades ago. The first Audi A was introduced in 1994 and the first generation stayed in production till 2001. The engine performance also wasnt on the same level as its other rivals. It has a top speed of 118mph and combined fuel economy of 29.4mpg. The boot capacity stands at 439litres which is good for a car in this class. These core characteristic were also part of the 1998 Audi A4 and other Audis A4 since day one and with the passage of time these have become increasingly polished.

It is not hard to see why A4 has become top choice for an entry level luxury car. In 1998, the Audi A4 saloon had a facelift and had a newly developed 2.8L V6 engine and 2.5 L V6 TDI. It also has redesigned front and rear lights as well as restyled door handles.
