The Anaheim Ducks continue to roll with six consecutive victories, but could be without their starting goaltender as they embark on a three-game road trip.With Jonas Hiller's status uncertain, the Ducks will look to match a franchise record with their seventh straight win Sunday night against the struggling Chicago Blackhawks.Hiller, who is 5-0-0 with a 2.35 goals-against average in his last five games, was struck by a puck on his face mask during practice Saturday and taken to a nearby hospital."It's unfortunate that those things happen," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle told the team's official website. "He's obviously cut. We'll have an assessment done. He'll probably have an X-ray to make sure there are no broken bones or anything."

Curtis McElhinney would get the start if Hiller is unable to play. McElhinney recorded his first career shutout Wednesday, stopping 27 shots in a 1-0 victory over the New York Islanders.Ryan Getzlaf got the go-ahead goal early in the third period and Saku Koivu scored his fifth in five games in Anaheim's 4-2 victory over Dallas on Friday. Hiller made 27 saves and allowed two goals or less for the eighth time in nine games.The Ducks (10-7-1) have won six straight for the first time since Feb. 17-March 3, 2008. The 1998-99 squad won seven in a row, and the only current Anaheim player who was on the roster that season was Teemu Selanne.Carlyle is excited about the team's direction, but doesn't want his players to get ahead of themselves.

"We're a quarter of the season in, and we're just respectable," he said. "We've got a tough road ahead of us, but we know this group can continue to grow as a team. Now we have an identity."Getzlaf, who has 13 points in his last 12 games against the Blackhawks, is likely looking forward to facing them for the first time this season. The Ducks are 8-1-0 against Chicago when he records at least one point.A few months removed from winning the Stanley Cup, the Blackhawks (8-9-1) have played well below expectations this season.Jack Skille tallied his first two goals of the season Saturday night, but the Blackhawks failed to score in the shootout and fell 4-3 in Nashville.

"I've said all season, once I get that first one, it will take the pressure off and hopefully I can keep that going," Skille said. "Right now, I think team wins are the bigger issue, and we need to get back on the winning side of things."While Chicago has lost five of six, captain Jonathan Toews knows that the team needs to stay upbeat.

"It's the name of the game for us lately," said Toews. "We just have to stick with it and not get discouraged."

Several of the Blackhawks' best players are struggling offensively. Toews and Patrick Kane both have gone three straight games without a point while Patrick Sharp has no goals in his last seven contests.Chicago hasn't lost five consecutive home games in regulation since Dec. 28-Jan. 11, 2006.The Blackhawks had won four straight at the United Center against the Ducks before losing 3-1 on Jan. 10 as Hiller made 42 saves.
