It was reported in the news this weeks that the actresses Angie Harmon and Rosario Dawson would join JoBeth Williams to announce the nominees for the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Executive producer Jeff Margolis announced the presenters in a statement Monday night. So in essence, there was an announcement of who the announcers will be. This is to be followed up by an announcement of the actual nominees. This is to be followed up by an announcement of the actual winners, followed shortly thereafter by a secret announcement by text message of the location of the after party.

But my focus in this article is to be on Angie Harmon. How I adore her and her work! You go, girl! Little miss Angie Harmon plays Boston detective Jane Rizzoli on the TNT series "Rizzoli (rhymes with "cannoli" & Isles". Yet who is Angie Harmon, really? What makes her tick? How did she begin her career in entertainment?

Well if you must know, MissAngela Michelle Harmon (her government name) was born on a hot and sweltering August 10, 1972. Was it an omen? One can only speculate. Today, Angie Harmon is still a fashion model and now also a television and film actress. Angie Harmon became a rather well-known and infamous model in the 1990s and developed a career as a television star after roles on such classics as Baywatch Nights Part 2 and Law & Order: SUV.

Today, Angie Harmon is also a wife to football player Jason Seyhorn, and is the mother of 3 adorable girls, also with Mr. Seyhorn. I am looking forward to the day when Angie Harmon receives her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That would be awesome.
