Though Animal-assisted therapy may not be able to cure or fully heal the person but interaction of children with the animal turns out is life changing for him. The companionship that child shares with the animal can improve the childs mobility, boost his self-esteem, foster learning and simply make life more enjoyable. Animals can also be used as part of group therapy programs to encourage communication and increase the ability to focus.
