Another European Airline Likely To Operate Code Share Flights With Middle East Carrier

Earlier this month, the national carrier of France

, Air France and Middle Eastern airline Saudi Airline have undergone a code share agreement according to eturbo news. The code share agreement details that the two carriers will be able to operate flights on Paris to Saudi Arabia route. Paris, Charles de Gaulle airport is hub of international airline Air France and also serves the purpose of a global connecting airport. The airline operates onward flights from Paris to London Heathrow, Johannesburg (http://www.flightsandairfares.co.uk/flights/johannesburg.htm), Zurich, Addis Ababa, Lagos, Cape Town and various destinations around the world. This code share agreement is likely to develop both airline"s international network and connectivity.

This code share agreement is also likely to lead to future integration of Saudi Arabian into Skyteam, the second largest global airlines" alliance in the world. Further, eturbo reports that sources at Skyteam airline also indicate that the official announcement of code share agreement between Saudi Airline and Air France is due to happen around January 10, 2011.

Once the code share is officially announced, the airline will soon be launching daily flights on France to Saudi Arabia. The key or leading cities in Saudi Arabia are Jeddah (http://www.flightsandairfares.co.uk/flights/jeddah.htm) and Riyadh from where the airlines will be operating flights to Paris, France.
