There are foods that have these antioxidants but we do not consume much. The amounts of antioxidants that are needed to protect out skin are not enough in our diet. So these products are added in the skin care products such as creams, lotions etc. So the antioxidants in our skin make sure that we are protecting our skin.

So when you go to the market and are about to buy a skin care products, no matter it is for pimples or any other treatment you must get the products that have antioxidants in them. When you select the products that have antioxidants also help in production of collagen and elastin. They maintain the elasticity of your skin. Thus keeping the skin healthy and active. The amount of the antioxidants in the skin care products can protect your skin; if it is 20% they will protect your skin form free radicals, if the quantity is uncreated up to 50% the antioxidants can repair the damage done tot eh skin also. But you must get the correct product according tot eh skin type. You may use at first the less quantity product then the high quantity.

Green tea is the best skin care product it has a lot of antioxidants that keep your skin healthy. Here is a green tea toner recipe below:

Green Tea Toner

1/2 cup pure spring water or distilled water.

2 teaspoons green tea leaves you can sue green tea bags but I prefer the use of green tea leaves.

Boil the water first. Then add the leaves of the green tea and let it cook for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then after that put it in the refrigerator cool it then you can sue that to cleanse your skin. You can use a cotton ball to use it to apply on the skin.
