Anxiety Attack Symptoms Are Both Physical And Emotional
Everyone has had to deal with some level of stress or anxiety at one point or another
. Many cant tell the difference between general stress, and a bona fide anxiety attack, however. In order to help you be more discerning, youll have to become familiar with these physical and emotional anxiety attack symptoms.
To be fair, its a little difficult to tell if someone struggles with anxiety in this way, because of the individuality of everyone. One person may be having an all-out attack, another may suffer an attack and never lose stride. No matter what the form of the disorder is, all anxiety attacks involve serious worry over a situation that others dont even worry about. Lets begin by examining some of the emotional anxiety symptoms.
The first emotional symptom has been hinted at obviously, excessively being afraid or worried. If youre constantly suffering from anxiety at the thought of things like being around others, or doing something like public speaking these are signs you have a problem. Other symptoms may be feeling apprehensive, watching out for the other shoe to drop, or being overly cautious.
Anxiety attack symptoms can involve a train wreck of emotions, actually. You cant seem to get through a day apart from worry. You may be irritable to an excessive degree. You may find focusing very difficult. If you feel like youre really tense all the time, then you should seek treatment.
These emotional symptoms of anxiety are only part of the trouble. There can be some pretty severe physical symptoms to accompany them. You may suffer from such a degree of physical symptoms that you find yourself in a hospital, thinking youve suffered a heart attack or similar episode.
The physical symptoms may be pretty insignificant, relatively speaking: twitching, feeling tired, constant urination, having stomach discomfort. All of these may lead to tension and feeling irritated. On top of these minor symptoms, you may experience things like a heavy pounding of your heart, or sweating profusely or frequently, having tense muscles, exhaustion or inability to sleep.
Please note that there are many other physical symptoms you may experience. Sometimes people will confuse such symptoms with either a mental or physical ailment, of the sort that they will constantly visit their doctor or worse: check themselves into an institution.
You have to know that there are many anxiety attack symptoms that can become manifest in your life. Youve probably suffered some of these attacks unaware. The difficulty resides in the fact that there is such a plethora of symptoms to beware of, diagnosis becomes tricky business.
