Britain's former No.1 tennis player, Jeremy Bates

, serves up the first round of Professional Tennis Weeks at Carlisle Bay Antigua from 20th 27th November 2010.

Guests can partake in tennis clinics perfecting their skills with Jeremy and put the new techniques into practice with a small group of other regular tennis players.

Jeremy's professional tennis career highlights include wins over Boris Becker, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras to name a few. He played for Great Britain in the Davis Cup from 1986 1994, as well as leading the GB team as coach and captain for six years, and won the Wimbledon and Australian Open Doubles mixed doubles in 1987 and 1991.

Carlisle Bay Antigua boasts 9 tennis courts eight cushioned hard courts and one artificial grass court; 4 are flood lit for evening play and are surrounded by a backdrop of lush rainforests set back from the Caribbean Sea. The Antiguan weather is superb with the temperature typically between the mid 70s and high 80s with cooling breezes all year round.
