An adorable game with lots of action that pulls the player right into the gameplay. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studios for the Playstation 3 Move. This game is referred to as Saru Getchu in Japan. Its designer Takamitsu Lijima has stated that the goal of this game is to make the player feel like they are in the shoes of the Ape Escape series monkey catcher.

Playstation Move has chosen really well with this one. It has a totally adorable theme song. Bouncy, catchy, makes you want to start the game up over and over again just to hear the song. It is vivid, exciting, eye catching, alluring, and makes the player want more and more of it. This PS3 Move game does just what the company wanted. It pulls you in and involves you every step of the way.

There are a variety of paths that the monkey catcher can take to get to the arena. It is there that they will pit their skills against the monkeys to catch as many as they can. The player can enhance their power by shooting the monkey power ups that are strategically placed along the path. There will also be a variety of tools that the monkey catcher can collect on the path.

The path has a variety of obstacles as well. There is an area of the game where there are jack o lanterns that must be shot, UFO's, Giant Apes, and dinosaurs. Some of the settings shown in the game are an amusement park, a water park, a paint balling arena, offices, and islands. The graphics are vivid, and very well animated.

Ape Escape Fury! Fury! for the PS Move is considered an on-rails shooting game that is viewed from the first person perspective. The Sony company has rated this for teens, but even the children in the various promotions for the game are under 10 years old. Teens and adults may become bored with this game quickly. It is ranked as a shooting game, but it is very refreshing to find there is not a lot of shooting going on in this game.

The Playstation 3 Move controller is utilized to fling bananas at stuff to make it go away. The slingshots do not actually harm the monkeys, they are used to annoy the monkeys and make them move so the player may catch them. To get dirt and debris out of the area the player is in, they wave the controller, which waves a fan in the game.

There is no set release date for this game in the United States, even though there has been discussion of such. The official release date in Japan is December 9, 2010. It is a cute, action packed game that should go over well in the game market. The company has announced that they plan to keep this one budget priced and affordable for most. Adorable little monkeys in cute outfits, released right before Christmas. A definite hit.
