App Developers To Get Blackberry 10 Prototypes

Research In Motion (RIM) is in the efforts to develop a long lasting relation with app developers and is trying more than ever to do so

. The company has just confirmed that they will offer BlackBerry smartphones 10 prototypes during their next event to be held in May in Orlando.

Commercialisation of the first models with the new operating system BlackBerry 10 will not occur until the end of the year, but RIM intends to maintain the mobilization of its developer community.

It is unclear whether all attendees will get the device or only a few lucky app developers. The truth is that RIM will demonstrate many new tools for the upcoming BlackBerry OS 10.

According to reports from Bloomberg, BlackBerry 10 prototype terminals will be distributed in May at the Blackberry Jam to be held in Orlando, Florida. Alec Saunders, vice president in charge of developer relations, said the design of models available would be very different from the final versions. "The user experience on these devices is in no way indicative of what will be the ultimate experience on BlackBerry 10. We reserve it to create interest at the launch, "he says.
