Apple Ipad Mini: Would It Be Worth It?

"To get the 7.85-inch panel, there is a business plan for it, there is a bulk manufacturing goal for it. So we know that it is for Apple," Richard Shim, an NPD DisplaySearch analyst, said to CNET.

"I don't know the name of the product, however I know it's going to be a tablet," he explained.

NPD DisplaySearch talks to businesses within the "supply chain" -- businesses that create the parts and construct products.

And also Shim said production is probably impending. "Everything is being put in place. We realize the particular lines. We understand the amount of panels can potentially come out of the sheets of glass."
