Apple Iphone 4: Extraordinarily Extraordinary

Simply because Apple made a breakthrough with the introduction of the iPhone 3GS in the market

, it doesn't mean that the company will stop producing quality devices. To keep the company's momentum going, Apple has decided to launch its new generation mobile phone, the iPhone 4, with flying colors. Great is an understatement when you are talking about this smartphone. It goes way beyond that. It is beautiful, it is classy, it is sophisticated, and it is extraordinary. You can describe it with all the words you know for exceeding expectations and the iPhone 4 will represent it.

When the iPhone 3GS was introduced to the market, everyone thought that it will be Apple's major accomplishment, but the company is out to prove that they can do more than what they have already done. They can blow the minds of the iPhone fans just by creating a one-of-a-kind mobile phone. It cements the position of Apple in the mounting competition from the likes of Google and Microsoft.

Display

Of course, upgrading the overall display is part of the upgrade that should be taken by Apple in this new generation smartphone. Apple calls the LED backlit of 960 x 640 IPS screen the Retina Display because of the high resolution and its pixel density. Its screen is the same as the older screens at 3.5 inches but the new display is an insane 326ppi pixel density with 800:1 contrast ratio. This resolution, according to Steve Jobs, tops what is perceivable by the human eye. The iPhone 4 has a more detailed, clear, and viewable screen than any other mobile device in the market today. The colors are rich and deep and you will never see pixels on the screen. It is as clear as that. The text rendering is incredibly clear and clean. This means there won't be lines of pixelated content when you are viewing zoomed items. In itself, it is impressive but it is doubly impressive when you are looking at high resolution graphics or watching videos on your phone. Moreover, because it is using IPS and LED for the technology of the screen, everything is visible in full sunlight. Even its performance in low light at extreme viewing angles is incredible. You will find a better phone display than the iPhone 4.

Speaker/earpiece

The speakers and earpieces of the previous generation iPhones cannot be argued but it is quite obvious that the ones used by the iPhone 4 is an improved version. The call and speakerphone quality is up which makes it consistently loud in both places. The speakerphones are also loud without distorting or producing other sounds.

Battery life

The iPhone 4 has a redesigned housing for the larger lithium-ion battery that provides improved life ratings. Thus far, the battery life of the iPhone 4 is outstanding. It exceeded the expectation of many during its testing. With a single charge, it's able to last for more than 38 hours under normal to heavy use. It's a thrilling improvement for the iPhone. Moreover, the larger battery life is coupled with the iPad-powering A4 processor allowing the device to give you longer lasting performance.
