I purchased this laptop for my wife as her previous HP dv2500SE was setting out to show its age. She has recently set to require up photography and thus i assumed a Mac would be a good choice for her - permitting her to simply organize and edit her photos and travel (which she will for work).
This laptop is totally wonderful in look. it's straightforward to sort on and browse the screen nevertheless is amazingly slim. it's troublesome to explain how tiny its footprint is till you hold it up against a laptop laptop with similar screen size and specs. The finish, glowing apple on the rear, and minimalist keyboard is certain to form others jealous (if you are into that kind of thing).
As the resident IT person for our house (and professionally) i used to be cautious of buying an Apple. My wife has found it intuitive to use and is well on her thanks to being a Mac skilled once solely some days of use. I even have played with it slightly bit and beyond obtaining used to the bit pad it's not that arduous to choose up.
Our issues regarding the Air not having enough horsepower to let her edit her photos (giant resolution, from a Nikon D90) were place to rest when she imported her initial photos from the memory card reader (the 11" needs a separate SDHC reader that is smart once you inspect the facet and notice the pc is not thick enough for one.
The front camera isn't 1080p however works okay with facetime (our son will walk around with my iphone and take mommy with him on his adventures round the house.
While i'd never surrender my laptop desktop, this tiny laptop is that the excellent alternative for folks that travel plenty and want a moderately powerful laptop and full keyboard.
