Apple Laptops has launched their brand new laptop called the Apple Macbook Laptop which uses a 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo processor and is only a fraction slower then one of the best laptops by Apple laptops in this size called the Macbook Pro. In most other aspects its pretty much the same laptop. When comparing benchmark results to the Macbook Pro it barely showed any difference and was pretty much at par when testing photoshop and itunes. Even the Nvidia M9400 GPU is the same as the higher end Apple Macbook pro.

For those who want to keep their expectations to a modest level and use lower resolutions this laptop is one of the best laptop offered by Apple in this range. Although it has a price tag Apple Laptops are not known to be cheap laptops.

Even under heavy testing, and view playback this tiny laptop provided a power backup of about 3 hours and 30 minutes so one can easily expect a much longer battery life under light usage such as web browsing and office work. Even though the batteries in t he Macbook pro range are non removable they do claim to have a much longer life and offer more charge cycles.

As mostly all Apple Laptops come with the standard Usb 2.0 ports, a mini-DVI port, one FireWire 400 port, and both headphone and mic jack some do find the older ports advantageous as theyc an use their older hardware with the newer machines. A port that was once a key port for video editing , the Firewire 400 port will not be continued in the future Laptops hence making this one the last Apple Macbook laptop to have it.

This Apple Laptop comes with a mini-DVI as the display output as finding mini-DVI adapters for video output is a lot easier and cheaper now. Sadly the SD slot which may have improved the value of this Laptops is absent as it native to the Apple Macbook pro line only.
