Canopy fume hood are specifically designed to vent non-toxic materials such as heat

, steam and odours from large or bulky apparatus such as ovens, steam baths and autoclaves. The hood may be installed on a wall or suspended from the ceiling for peninsular and corner locations. Coupled with a blower and ductwork, the Canopy Hood can operate at a wide range of exhaust rates.

Canopy Fume Hood are primarily used to exhaust non-toxic material in a work area where the expense and capabilities of a fume hood are not justified. They are crafted with an integrally welded construction, fixed baffle and are available in ether wall or island configurations.

The Cabinet is made up of industrial grade fire resistant commercial wooden board covered with laminated sheets and lined completely with epoxy coated/FRP lining or corrosion resistant steel sheets having epoxy coated from inside, duly painted with attractive stoves enamel/air drying spray paint.

The work table is made up of gauge construction material fortified with acid proved glazed tiles/stainless steel grade ss-304.

It covers the reaction area and Mounted on outlet of chemical fumes. Its provided with a flow control valve to regulate airflow. It has Blower assembly & ductwork and can be operate at a wide range of exhaust rate. Chemical resistant polyurethane coated steel or stainless steel and have a duct collar on top to connect with an exhaust system. Drip gutter located around the inside edges to collect condensation.

Removable slotted inside baffle to increase air velocity around the opening of the hood and to prevent back draft of hazardous vapours.

Canopy fume hood are equipped with highly reliable audio alarm device capable of detecting a drop or rise in airflow through the hood unit. If the hood exhausts volume falls below a preset exhaust level, the alarm will alert the operator by sound sign.
