Apsrtc Special Dassera Buses

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation APSRTC to run several special buses

from Hyderabad to various districts in the state in order to clear the extra rush of passengers in this festive season. The decision to introduce the extra buses has been taken in view of Dassera festival. These APSRTC buses will run from October 8th to October 16th. Tickets to these APSRTC buses will however cost 50 percent more for the commuters. There are 131 APSRTC reservation centers will be opened in Hyderabad for reservations in these special Dassera buses.

APSRTC transport system was started with 27 buses and was constantly developing. According to a statistics taken on 30 January 2009, the total calculated APSRTC buses were 20972. Represents APSRTC Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. It provides transit service in the state. The carrier Andhra based public has a large fleet of more than 18,000 buses. Currently APSRTC is running about 19000 strong coach fleet, biggest road transport in India. Its fleet is the force with which their covers several miles a day. APSRTC operates both long distance and intracity connections. It also runs interstate routes connecting to the adjacent states of Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Karnataka, Maharashtra and many more. Andhra Pradesh public transportation which aims to give passengers a better travel experience every time. APSRTC is a pioneer in providing their bus services in the Southern parts of India. And it operates across states namely Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Orissa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, and Chhattisgarh.

Passengers can book tickets by visiting the APSRTC reservation center or any authorized Ticket Booking Agent. Telephonic reservation of the tickets can also be done. Nowadays, computerized reservation system is available. Around 400 computerized ticket booking centers are available all over the state. Passengers are also provided with road maps and directions. The passengers are the top most priority for APSRTC.
