Are internet business opportunities a scam? Many are, but if you look some legitimate options do exist. Many people make money by selling items on E-bay or by advertising Amazon products on their website or blog. Those are legitimate ways of making money and there are many others.
Do you want to make a few thousand dollars simply by signing up for a money-making internet business? Here's the bad news, most internet business opportunities are scams and the ones that are not require a lot of work. Earning money from home is work.
So where do you start? First, do some research. Don't just look at the site with the flashy ads and well-made videos. Search for reviews to see what people are saying and be certain to look for clues that the review you are reading is a paid-for advertisement. Also, go to the Better Business Bureau site online and check out the business, few have been around long enough to be listed and most sites do come up in a BBB search receive "F's" in the grading system.
Once you have found that online service, system or product that is offered by a legitimate company you need to set aside time to read through all documentation and training videos available. Then, you need to spend time figuring out how to make the system work for you. The best way to sell anything is through advertising.
If you have never advertised before, do some research. Your internet business opportunity may be fantastic, but no one will know unless you spread the word. Does this sound like work to you? It is. There are no super-easy short-cuts, the most you will get is a push in the right direction.

You need to get creative and start an advertising campaign. Before you start sending out a massive email to random addresses, check your company's policy on SPAM. Believe it or not some companies do not condone SPAMing (you can send email to people you know personally or people who ask you for information). So once your family and friends are exhausted you need to get creative to drive people to your site.
Does this mean that your chosen opportunity is a scam? Of course not; it means that you have to do some work to reap the rewards. -Just like any other job, you have to put in some effort.
