, which were previously considered impossible, or were not even imagined to have existence. For instance, who would have thought that you could communicate with someone who lives in an entirely different continent, by staying in your own very room?

In present times, people all over the world engage in communications over the internet, which may lead to close bonds being formed. This is referred to as being an internet relationship, which can take either the form of a romantic bond or that of friendship.

Even now, there are many people who would disagree with being a part of such a relation as they think that in such a case, one can never be sure about the true intentions or identity of the other person. It may seem foolish to rely on and expect from a person who only seems to exist in one's computer screen.

This could be true, as a lot of people may create fake identities and pretend to be someone whom they are not. However, there are people who believe in the genuineness of such relationships from the core of their heart and become a part of one.

These people, in turn, argue that it is possible to make these relationships work as any other relationship, if the two people involved in it are ready to give their best to it. This can be done by spending ample time with one another and communicating via video and audio chats. This way, they will see each other and get to know one another much better than written communications, and people will not be able to fake to a great extent.

It depends on what the two people want. If all that they have in mind is a true, loving relationship, then they will manage to be in one. If they work on it, it could become just as good as a real relationship.

However, some precautions are absolutely essential, such as refraining from giving away a lot of private information, and communicating as much as possible at the start of the online relationship - at least, until such time you have built trust in one another.
