Are You A Spender Or A Saver
There are two different kinds of people
There are two different kinds of people. There are those who spend money with no thought for tomorrow. saving isn't a priority, and they have easily recognisable behaviour patterns, to be seen in the following paragraphs.
The end of the month isn't something they look forward to. They aspire after new things all the time, the bigger, and shinier the more they want it. Normally they will have a number of credit cards.
If something seems to be a good price, the spender will buy it. This is particularly true of clothes and shoes, and their cupboards at home will be overflowing with useless items that seemed a bargain at the time. Spenders are usually popular people because they treat, they buy drinks, even meals, and are always quick to put their hands in their pockets so to speak. nevertheless they do have moments and sleepless nights worrying about money.
You can always tell a saver, because they know exactly what they have in their bank account, and whether or not they can afford to buy something. They are bay and large what would be described as careful with money the opposite of the spender.
At the end of the month, the saver will always be in credit. They go shopping with a list and they won't buy anything not on the list, knowing exactly what it will cost.
Savers tend not to have or use credit cards. They will have a charge card or a bank card which is either deducted immediately or paid in full at the end of the month. They won't buy, if they can't pay in full, because credit is not part of their lifestyle. In fact they will more often than not buy second hand, especially motor cars so they can pay cash and avoid borrowing money.
Savers are very aware of the value of their house, and care less about how they furnish it. They will be found looking in the windows of building societies and scouring the newspapers for the best savings rates. They will be able to quote these at length. In all probability a saver will have their household waste strictly controlled living a waste not want not lifestyle.
You will probably be either a saver or a spender, and you should recognise yourself in this article. It is best to be a bit of one and a bit of the other than be far to one side of the spectrum.
