He would put himself in the middle of hard conflict to experience it first hand and then would write about it. He lived in France during the French Revolution and was deeply involved in it. He was even arrested and held in France. He was a privateer. He survived a horrific sea journey to America. Benjamin Franklins private doctor actually carried Thomas Paine off the ship as he could not walk from sickness. He was involved in the American Revolution by funding a large part of it with money he brought from France. At the end of his life, he was shunned by most because of his views on Christianity. He was raised Quaker so he had some radical views for that time. Only six people came to his funeral. Todays Daily Quote is from Thomas Paine and says:

The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.

For today, lets stop looking at our hard conflicts. Lets stop focusing on the people who are causing us distress. Lets stop worrying about where this and that will come from. Lets just spend today seeing the world as we want it to be. Thomas Paine wanted a free America and so he helped somehow procure the monies to fund the War. He didnt look at the logistics or the reality of now. Lets see our lives as we want them to be, whether we believe it can be like that or not. If you want to live in a 30 million dollar mansion, then see yourself living in it today. Focus on details. What does your Master Bath look like? What is on the floors? What kind of layout is the kitchen? What is the Man Cave like and where is it in the house? What colors are on the living room walls? If you have a dream car, drive it today in your head. Look at the dash. If you need help, search on the internet for pictures and zoom in on those. Take your mind off your hard conflicts today. Put it on what you want. See how much better you feel when you go to bed tonight. Sweet Day Dreams.
