I realized this after years that my website was a massive success. If I would have tested my system right from the start I would have ended up earning hundreds of thousands of dollars. Simplicity is very important to start and set up your internet business.

Step 2 - I made things extremely complicated.

The first website I created was a huge mess. It was a huge content website. I had optimized the website with keywords, installed dozens of scripts that rotated banners on my website and had put up a dozen affiliate products from all around the web.

I realized that I did not know exactly what was going around with my website. I was making things extremely complicated. My advice to you is to create a simple website. If you do this you will be able to track your website components and will allow you to improve them one step at a time.

Step 3 - I did not set up my goal.

I was not aware what I exactly wanted out of my internet business. Therefore I did not set up my plan. I did not have a plan in place and I was confused as to what I should do to earn money online.

I therefore focused all my efforts purchasing e-books and products showing me how to start my internet business. I hardly took any action in the right direction. It is very important to set up your plan to get started.

Step 4 - I had no plan to pursue.
