Sinusitis is another disease which is caused when the cavities become infected by a bacteria or virus. Symptoms of sinusitis include headache, difficulty breathing, runny nose, sneezing and coughing, bad breath and pain around the bridge of nose.

Throat disorders

Throat problems are common and probably everyone has gone through a sore throat. Tonsillitis, Pharyngitis and throat cancers are some throat disorders.

Tonsillitis occurs when the tonsils become inflamed for a long period of time. In this case, they may have to be surgically removed and the procedure is called a "tonsillectomy." The surgery is recommended when inflammation is severe enough which starts interfering with swallowing and breathing. There is also an extreme obstruction of the airways or swallowing.

School children are generally found absent due to viral infections or ENT problems. Therefore, do not ignore if the child is suffering from a prolonged disorder. An ENT specialist must be consulted to treat ear, nose or throat disorders before the infection spreads severely.
