Are you who you want to BE?

The inspiration for this article came from 2 videos that I watched a little while ago

. The first (click here if you want to view it) really got me thinking about success and how badly a person wants it. The second video I watched today posed the question Who am I? (click here to see the video) and in the video they followed it up with "I am a champion" WHO AM I? I AM A CHAMPION! You can answer the question Who Am I? however you feel the need but I ask you are you who you want to BE? Or are you just floating through life, letting it pass you by?

Both of these videos are very different but they are also the same. They have the same message. They stress the fact that your thoughts, your views, your mindset determine who and what you are in life. You must live and breathe success in order to be a success but the great thing is, is that success is only about the views of one person. YOU!! Only you can determine how successful you are, no one else. And by success I don't mean the size of your bank account. The Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines success as a: degree or measure of succeeding b: favourable or desired outcome. So use your own ruler to measure your success because no one else's opinion matters

Success is about a lot of great things, whatever you want that finish line to be. Whether it is about conquering your fear of heights, losing those 10lbs, loving yourself for who you are and as you are, becoming that entrepreneur you have always wanted to be. But even more than that success is about believing that anything you set out to do you can achieve. It is a realization that "everyone is created equal but some work harder in pre season". You must have a drive in you that you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe. You will do anything and everything it takes to become a success, a champion or whatever you would like to put here.

If you think about the statement everyone is created equal, then why aren't we all successful? I have been using the word success but really there are so many other words that could fit. Why aren't we all happy, living in joy etc use whatever fits for you at this time.

I will tell you why we are not all successful it is because most people use someone else's ruler to measure their success. You let other people judge you and then you being to doubt yourself and then the voices in your head start beating you up and belittling you. And then you start to believe that you are less than extraordinary and then you start to fear success because you don't want to be judged etc. When will enough be enough? When is it time to start living for you and becoming the extraordinary success that you are? When is it time to start living your wildest dreams? When is it time to start giving yourself credit for all of the incredible success that you are already having? When is it time to start using your own ruler? Determine your own success, believe in yourself because once you start believing in yourself and CELEBRATING your own successes things will just start to bloom right in front of your eyes. The snowball effect begins to take place, it starts off small but once you get going it becomes so big that you can't even fit your arms around it. I can attest to this because I was one of those people who was always putting myself down but then I began to focus on the good things in my life and all of my successes. My life has changed so much... for the better

So in other words just be success. Celebrate everything that you do as a success, big or little. Stop worry about what others think, don't think bad things about yourself, only focus on the good things and all the successes that you have accomplished.
