These railway stations are only a few kilometers away from the city centre and can be reached by taking a taxi or a bus. Udyan Express (No 16529) and Mumbai LTT - Coimbatore (Kurla) Express (No 11013) are the two daily trains from Mumbai to Bangalore. Fare for a sleeper ticket in Udyan Express and Kurla Express is Rs. 363 and Rs. 359 respectively.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) is located within the Mumbai city's municipal limits. There are several direct flights from Mumbai to Bangalore by various airliners such as Indigo, Spicejet, Jetkonnect and Air India. A direct flight from Mumbai to Bangalore takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. Bengaluru International Airport (BLR) is located 4 km south of Devanahalli. Airport is 40 km from the city centre and 30 km from the Bangalore City Railway Station. Taxi services are available for passengers traveling to and from the airport. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporations (BMTC) 24/7 Airport shuttle service known as Vayu Vajra connects various parts of the Bangalore city to the airport.
