Article 12: Tomorrow Is Day One
It's the exciting day! Well, tomorrow is Day One. I am not dieting today. But tomorrow will be a different story. I'll be on the first day of my 25 day diet. The research is complete. I received my products. I dared a friend to do the diet alongside me (for the extra motivation). And I've got the rule book in hand so I know what I am up to while trying to lose weight with Prescription HCG. I am going to read through the rules one more time before it is time to act on it and actually follow the rules. The protocol is short and sweet so it's not going to be difficult to read again in full. I don't want any surprises while I am on the Prescription HCG diet.
I have got to get myself to the nearest grocery store. I am really happy that the protocol book has a sample shopping list. The diet is severely limited so, technically, shopping for it should be easy. But it's just so different from what I am used to that I don't really know where to start so I'm glad there's a list to help me.
I've got the sample shopping list and I'm just going to jump in the car and head out. I'll be back.
Okay. I am back from the grocery store. I did not like it. That is the only negative thing that has come up so far regarding starting the Prescription HCG diet the day before Thanksgiving. Even the normally nice little old ladies were being horrible at the store. Someone pushed me when I was standing in front of the Gala apples. Sheesh!
But that's over now. And I'm glad. I have everything I need to get started. I'm excited now that the time is almost here! Thanksgiving is the perfect time to start the diet (now that the trip to the grocery store is completed).
I got all the fresh produce and other items that I'd need to start sticking to the strict protocol on the day after Thanksgiving. I wanted to be prepared now so I don't have to rush out the night of Thanksgiving when everything is closed. That's the most popular "advice" I have seen pop up from previous dieters...be prepared. Do not find yourself at a point when there's nothing approved to eat...and you're hungry.
I'm going to feel the stress of not being able to jaunt out to the nearest "out to eat" place or fast food drive thru when I don't have anything prepared. It's going to be a big adjustment for me as it is for many. So I'm going to consider that advice that I keep hearing as if it were "gold" and always be prepared.
My fridge is fully stocked with both loading day items and VLCD items so I'm totally ready. Happy Thanksgiving! And watch for tomorrow's article.
