Article Marketing For Affiliate Commissions - The EASIEST Way to Make a Full Time Living From Home

Is article marketing for affiliate sales effective? Which programs are the BEST to promote? How many articles do I need to write to be successful? Is there an equation... or a rule I need to follow? And what happens if a niche market doesn't convert at all? Should I give up... or keep trying? Any of these questions sound familiar? If you are anything like I was when I first started writing articles for the purpose of selling affiliate products, they probably do! Is article marketing effective for selling affiliate products?

Absolutely, yes. But depending on the niche, you may find that your approach needs to be modified a bit to meet the market. For example... some niches work REALLY well with a straight re-direct, where you are sending the visitor directly to the affiliate program. Other niches, a review page is a much better way to convert the same traffic... and they WON'T buy if you forward them straight to the vendor. (and even worse... you'll be wasting your traffic) In OTHER markets (like the online entrepreneurial spaces, especially) getting people to opt in to your list is your BEST bet... and building rapport,and real relationship is the key to making money. The truth is, if you mess this up and don't learn what your visitor is most likely to want... you WILL leave a lot of money on the table, and often get sub-optimal results... which unfortunately, most people do.

For example?

In my experience, people who read dating articles are NOT interested in signing up for a list... but WILL sign up for a dating service if you send them to one. Conversely, the entrepreneurial markets (like the one I'm writing about here)is VERY eager to sign up for a list to learn more... but won't buy a product or service after one read of your article. (and in my view, that's a good thing!)

What about markets that don't convert? Should you quit... or keep going?

Truthfully? I NEVER pick markets that don't convert. Why? Because I use the affiliate network conversion metrics that are already in place when I pick my niches. For example, most reputable affiliate networks have EPC reporting (average earnings per 100 visitors) or an analogous figure. When you KNOW what is converting for other affiliates, and in the market itself, the chances of picking products (and niches) that WON'T convert for you is almost reduced to zero! And i your traffic is NOT doing as well as everyone else's... well, you know it's a problem with YOUR content... or your approach, rather than the market itself.
