I think everybody who is doing article marketing knows what the goals are but not everybody takes the right path to the goal.
You want to drive traffic to your site and make some sales that is obvious. Everybody wants that but not everybody is going to get it. And when this happens to you that you wrote some articles and you did not have any results you want to quit because you think that article marketing is not working.
The truth is that article marketing works very well when you do it right. And I believe that almost everybody can do it and I also believe that almost everybody can do it right even if you thing you that you can not.
You see If you really want to be successful with article marketing there is only one key component to it and that is content. Sure there are some other factors that come in to play but content is really the king.
You may have heard that the quality of your content doesnt really matter but that is simply not true. If you were selling article spinning software maybe you would say that too or if you are doing article marketing only to get links to your site then yes the quality doesnt really matter.
In my opinion if you are writing or getting poor quality articles and then you have them published only to get back links to your site you are missing the mark. Of course it would be nice to be on the first page of google but it may take months even years before you see your site on that spot but it could also be never.
Your primary goal writing your articles should be quality content no questions about it. When you write a quality article that article could give you what you want and that is traffic sales and money long before your site could appear on the first page of google.
If your article is good enough it is going to get republished on other websites and this is exactly what you should aim for. Nobody is going to notice poor quality article the only thing you are going to get is some links but who is going to click on them? Would you if you were the customer?
You should always write articles with the mind set of serving the people that are reading it and if you do that you will not focus on yourself and what are you going to get out of it. Then you will write good articles that people like and find what they were looking for and that is good and useful information.
