In this article I'm going to talk about driving traffic to websites and discuss whether

free traffic really exists or whether it's just another myth that the guru's try and sell you.

Okay, so does free traffic exist? Well the simple answer is yes and not only does it exist, but in my personal opinion I'd much rather use free traffic over paid traffic any day of the week! Not only can it result in an amazing amount of traffic but it can also save you a ton of money because your not paying for expensive PPC or Media Buys!

How do you drive traffic for free though?

Ever heard of articles? If you haven't then you've been living under a rock and also, what do you think you are reading now? This is an article and it's articles like this that can drive serious traffic!

You see article marketing has been around for a long time and there's loads of different views as to what works effectively and why you need to do it, but really how do you make money with articles?

Well I've looked at articles for a long time and I've worked out that there's actually 2 different ways to drive visitors for free with articles! The first method is by doing proper keyword research and using articles to dominate a phrase in Google!

Article directories are highly respected by Google so if you post a good article and do some keyword research then you are going to rank highly within Google and get some decent traffic!

The other method is purely for traffic only which comes from people reading your article on the directory and also from publishers picking up your content and posting it on their blog or in their newsletter for example!

Both are effective and both can be used for different methods!

One of the things you have to understand when it comes to driving massive traffic with articles is that you need a lot of articles to do this! The super affiliates use something called leverage to produce 100's or articles and have them distributed through not 1 but 20,30 or even 100 different places!

It doesn't really matter if an article only gets 10 views if you have 30 different articles distributed through 100 different sites per day! That's 3000 articles per day and at 10 views each thats 30,000 views!

The power of leverage is huge and if you learn how to leverage your efforts effectively then you can drive as much free traffic as you want!
