Article marketing is one of the staples of marketing online

, since day one. Article directories like Ezinearticles allow people to share information and ideas with the entire world within many given niches; anything from internet marketing to weight loss. It can also be used as a very powerful tool with regards to building up a fan base, driving visitors back to your website, and high profile links, which will help your website move up in the search engines. However, article marketing can be a bit boring sometimes, especially when you have to come up with the content yourself. So what I am going to do is give you my personal six steps on how you can do article marketing like the big super affiliates and drive a constant steady stream of traffic back to your main site.

Step 1: Hire a freelance writer to write 10 to 20 articles for you with your main keyword that you are targeting. Now I know what you're thinking probably right now that you can't afford this. I'm sorry but I think that is just a cop out. You can easily get an article written for you for $3 - $5 a pop now. Go out and outsource it, trust me, you'll be a lot happier.

Step 2: Pickup an automatic piece of article submitting software. This software will allow you to blast your article out to 50 to maybe even over 400+ article directories throughout the internet. That is a very powerful way to build high quality links back to your main money site as well as a steady stream of constant traffic. It also saves you hours upon hours of time from doing it yourself. A clear no brainer solution.

Step 4: Bookmark your articles. Again you can get software for this as well, but you don't really need too. Just use socialmarker or onlywire. Go to the main article directories such as Ezinearticles and bookmark your articles throughout many of the bookmarking networks. Sometimes, by just doing this, your article can end up on the first page of Google for your main keyword. Again, more traffic and links back to your site.

Step 5: Publish on Yahoo and Google groups with your article link as the answer the question. Everyday there are tons and tons of questions on these groups from all types of places. How simple would it be for you just to drop your link in the answer and have them read your article. Also, just look at the psychology of it all. This person has a dying need for an answer to the question right then and there and you provide them with a solution. Aka, this is you grabbing the low hanging fruit

Step 6: Take your article and make it into a video slideshow with you narrating the whole thing. Scared to get in front of a camera? Well that's not a problem anymore. Just take some of the main points out of your article, place them on a slide show and voila, you have a video. Buy a microphone for $10 and just say what's on the slides. Record it with some screen cam capture software then blast it out through all the video sharing sites throughout the internet.
