Article marketing is boring. We all know that. It takes a lot of time for some people to come up with content for their website. You can simply hire a freelance writer to do it all for you, but some people cannot afford that yet until they start making dough. So the question is, how can you do article marketing to the best of your ability and increase your website traffic exponentially with just a few articles? Well, that's the point of this article so what I am going to do is give you my top six tips on how to get the most out of your article marketing efforts.

Tip 1: Buy a piece of software that will submit your article to numerous directories with just a push of the button. There is tons of article submitting software out there that can do this for you. There are numerous reviews on each one so just pick which one is best for you.

Tip 2: After you have submitted your article to the article directories, I then want you to submit the URL of your article from ezinearticles to the RSS directories. This is going to blast your article throughout the internet even more, while potentially building you back links to your desired site.

Tip 3: From there, I want you to bookmark your article. Bookmarking has become very popular over the last couple of years due to its powerful link building. What is also great about bookmarking is if you are writing about a popular niche, your article can spread like wild fire though the bookmarking websites, thus increasing your exposure, web traffic, and rankings in the SERPS.

Tip 4: Utilize the power of Yahoo groups and Google groups. Research whatever topic that you are writing about through these 2 groups and then just direct the people asking the questions to your articles. Many times, even these posts can get ranked in the search engines if they are popular enough. Again, more exposure, more traffic, and more link juice back to your site.

Tip 5: Take your article and make it into a presentation on Power Point or whatever slide show software you have. All you need is Microsoft Power Point, take your article, add some of the lines from your article on various slides, insert graphics, music, whatever you like and you have a video. Let the slide show play while you narrarate into your microphone. Get some type of screen cam capture software, record and now you have a video that you can blast out to the search engines. Again, providing you more traffic.

Tip 6: Turn your article into a podcast. There are many podcast directories out there where you can take your article, turn it into a podcast for people to listen on their MP3 devices. From there, just blast out your podcast through the internet.

I hope some of these tips will be of good use for you as they have for me as well. Yes article marketing can be tedious so definitely I would recommend leveraging your efforts as best as possible for each article because the results will be worth it.
