When I started my online business one of the things I wondered about for a while was whether or not article marketing was worth my time. The reason I wondered this, is because it took time to think of good articles to write and actually have them make sense. Article marketing is definitely worth your time if done correctly, but if done incorrectly you'll end up wasting countless hours writing or paying someone to write when it doesn't end up actually increasing your profits.

A lot of people think of article marketing is just throwing up lots of articles all over the Internet and getting traffic because of it. Doing article marketing this way is a complete waste of time. The best way to do it is actually by finding out what your target market has problems with, and then offering solutions and opinions that may solve those problems through your articles.

So for example, if you have a website that shows people how to get rid of their back pain, make sure that your articles gives people tips and ideas to getting rid of their back pain. You don't have to give people all of your tips, all you have to do is make sure that you do give some helpful advice. People have no problem paying for products or services that will solve their problems. But what people do have a problem with is wasting their time. So make sure that your articles offer solutions and tips that people can easily implement to solve their problems.

The best way to come up with ideas for your articles is by actually going to different blogs and forums and finding out what people are talking about. Once you find out what people are talking about come up with creative ways to actually write articles that will solve their problems while at the same time making them more interested. If you follow this simple formula writing your articles, you'll get a lot of exposure and your profits will increase because of it.
