Many people think that article marketing is simply writing a bunch of articles and sending them out to different article directory websites

. After doing a little more research though, they might find that when using article marketing to build their brand, they also have to take into account Google, Yahoo, etc. Why? When you're writing an article for others who are interested in the same topic to read, what exactly do search engines have to do with it? A lot! Obviously, search engines need to present a user with a list of results based on the keywords the user entered in their search. Page rank is a certain ranking that a website or webpage has based on the number of links it has going back to it. The higher the page ranking, the more likely the Web spiders are to pick it up, and these results will be listed first in the results. So what does this have to do with article marketing?

Search engines love article directory sites because they are always filled with new and informative content. Because of this, any articles that are placed in the directories are likely to be some of the first picked up by the search engines. In addition to this, article directories also generally have very high page rankings, and some of those rankings will be attributed to your site when you place an article in the directory. All of this adds up to your content and your website being placed at the top of the heap. And this of course, means that even more people will be exposed to your site, your articles, and your brand!

This has everything to do with article marketing to promote your brand.
