1. Keyword optimization.
This is big. Most beginner article marketers just write articles without targeting a certain keyword. This is a huge mistake and it only allows you to get traffic from the article directory. Your articles should target keyword with low competition so they can rank high in search engines and gain extra views for you. This will also make you appear to be an expert in your field because your articles will be the first thing people see when they search for your topic.
2. Write more articles.
The more articles you have the more views you will get, and the more views you get the better your chances are at getting a sale or a subscriber. Its simple math really. Make sure your articles are of good quality though because if they are not then they won't convert into anything but wasted time. If you do research on your topic you should have no problem creating quality articles and the best part is the more you do it the easier it becomes. At first it may take you up to an hour to make one article! After about a week you could be down to maybe an article every ten minutes or so.
3. Proofreading.
Proofreading is something nobody likes to do. If fact most article marketers do even do it. When you are proofreading you should'nt do it right after you created your article because you will still remember what you were planning to write and your mind will skip over the mistakes. You should do your proofreading the next day after you have written your article to avoid this. I know this sounds kinda silly but write an article then proofread it and then read it again the next day and you will see what I mean.
